Child Care Experience

From January to March 2024, I occasionally took care of Lucrezia (3). I gave baths, prepared food and got her ready for bed. From May to October 2022, I took care of Sara (12), every Saturday. I helped with homework, went to the park, prepared snacks and played with the child. From September 2021 to January 2022, I took care of Rachele (12), every Saturday. I helped with homework, went to the park and prepared lunch. From February 2021 to April 2022, I took care of Livia (11) and Andrea (11), five days per week. I picked them up from school, helped with homework, prepared dinner and played with the children.

I would like to participate in the Au Pair exchange program in the United States because I am excited to immerse myself in a new culture, improve my language skills and share my passion for learning and caring for children. I consider myself qualified because I have experience in working with children, I am responsible, and have a strong motivation, to contribute positively to the life of a host family, offering a loving environment and educational support to their children.

Child Care Experience

From April 2017 to present, I take care of Kwandokuhle (7) for fifteen hours a week. I pick up from childcare, prepare meals, laundry, change diapers, play, get child ready for school, assist with homework, give baths, get child dressed and keep child entertained. From May to October 2021, I took care of Syamthanda (3). I prepared meals, played learning activities, went for walks, assisted with the bathroom routine, gave baths, helped get child dressed, practiced vocabulary, played games, supervised and put child down for naps. From June to July 2023, I took care of Alwande (4 months) for one month, fifty hours a week. I prepared bottles, changed diapers, prepared meals, played, did laundry, kept child entertained, and put child down for naps.

Becoming an au pair in the US will completely change my life. Not only will I be able to assist at home and ensure that my mother is well taken care of, but it will also make me stronger and more self-reliant. Being far away from familiar surroundings and immersed in a different culture will push me to overcome challenges and become more resilient. I have always wanted to work with kids because I have a loving nature. I am a responsible person who has patience and passion for kids, and seeing them grow and learn new things from me would be rewarding. I feel like my strengths have played an important role in my life, as they have made me who I am. I am a patient, open-minded, hardworking, attentive, and creative person, so my strengths have contributed to shaping my character.

Child Care Experience

From May to September 2023, I took care of Meroly (5 months), for four hours, three times a week. I prepared food, changed diapers, gave baths an put child to sleep. From October 2022 to July 2023, I took care of Brayan (9) for six hours, five days a week. I took the child to school, helped with homework and prepared lunch. From February to August 2021, I took care of Rosneilyn (2) for four hours, 3 times per week. I took care of the child, gave baths, prepared breakfast and played with the child.

I want to participate in this program because I want to have a cultural experience, get to know different cities, American culture, and share my own culture and traditions. I consider myself qualified for this program because I have previous experience in caring for children of different ages, I have participated in recreational activities for children and helping them with schoolwork. I am a responsible and committed person.

Child Care Experience

**I would like to care for children ages 2 to 5 years old** I've looked after Eliana (9) since July 2024. My duties include picking her up from school, preparing meals, help with homework, doing creative activities, and going to the beach or the library. I was a class assistant form April to June 2024 taking care of children ages 2 to 4 years old. My duties included preparing meals and feeding the toddlers, changed diapers and helped with potty training, I monitored playtime and cleaned up after the children. I've been a Grade RR assistant since July 2024 taking care 5-year-old children. My duties include assisting two students with their schoolwork, supervising mealtimes and recess and sometimes taking them to the beach. I looked after Monja (12) and Lune (13) from July 2021 to September 2022 once a month. I picked them up from school and dropped them off to their home, occasionally taking them to have coffee or do some outings together. When the parents had a date night, the girls would come over to my place and I organized a fun evening for them.

I’ve always dreamed of traveling the world and experiencing different cultures, which is what drew me to becoming an au pair. The opportunity to live in the USA, to learn firsthand about American life, and to share parts of my South African heritage with a host family is incredibly exciting to me. I believe my love for working with children, along with my skills in organizing engaging activities, make me a great fit for the EurAupair program. I see myself as caring, creative, and dependable – I’m someone who genuinely cares for children and wants them to feel safe, happy, and inspired. My experience as a classroom assistant and in various childcare roles has helped me build patience, adaptability, and a positive outlook, which I know will help me adjust smoothly into a new family and culture.

From September 2021 to December 2022, I cared Arianna e Federico. I was in charge of preparing meals, helping with her homework and playing together. October 2022 to 2024 I took care of Enea 3 Months year old and From February 2024 I took care of Giulio 8 Month years old. My responsibilities included: playing games in English, preparing Enea for school, preparing snacks, changing . From October 2021 to June 2023, I was taking care of Maria 5 years old and Gabriele 3 years old. I was helping the child with the homework, preparing easy meals, bath the children, putting the kids to sleep, playing together

I have always loved the idea of working with children while also having the opportunity to travel around the United States, as it combines two of my greatest passions. Spending time with children brings me so much joy, and I feel confident in my ability to take care of them since I already have experience in doing so. Moreover, I am excited about the chance to bond with a host family, share meaningful moments, and immerse me in their culture, creating memories together that will last a lifetime.

From 07/2018 to 12/2022 i cared for Levi (6), Lisa (5) and Livia (1) twice a week. My responsibilities included bathing, helping with schoolwork, organizing toys, games and activities and feeding. From 05/2021 to 03/2022 I cared for Milena (1) three times a week. My responsibilities included bathing, make sleep, organizing toys, activities, feeding and laundry. From 01/2023 to 02/2023 I cared for children ranging from newborn to 12 years old 5 days a week. My responsibility included changing diapers, bottle feeding, supervising, making then sleep, activities, games, play together and entertain the babies.

I love the nature, animals and being outdoors, I like cook a good food, do art&crafts and travel.

I want to become an Au Pair because I want improve my English, live the American culture and because I love kids! The job as a babysitter has taught me many skills and abilities, having the attitude on the service, knowing how to treat people and being organized to be able to perform my activities more quickly. I fell that all skills provide me to be an excellent Au Pair for you!

Child Care Experience

From August 2022 to June 2023, I took care of Maria (6), from Monday to Friday, 5h/day. My responsibilities were: taking care of her, giving her food, taking her to the kindergarten, helping her to do the homework and go to swimming lessons. From August 2023 to June 2024, I cared for Juan (14), Maria (12) and Guadalupe (3), Wednesday to Sunday, 8h/day. I took them from the school, I prepared the lunch, I took them to the club to their sports classes and I accompanied them to bed. From April 2022 to June 2022, Monday to Thursday, 6h/day I cared for Santiago (8). I used to pick him up from the school, I gave him lunch, I helped him to do his homework, and I played with him. From July 2024 to October 2024. I cared for Aitana (1), Monday to Thursday, 6h/day. During that period, I prepared her bottle, I changed her diapers, I put her to take a nap, we played visual stimulation games, we went for walks.

I want to be an Au Pair because I love taking care of children, it is a very nice experience and I can learn from them, and they can learn from me. I also want to be an Au Pair because it is one of my passions to do activities with children. Going to the gym, listening to music, watching series or Anime, my favorite movie is twilight, and my favorite Anime is Kitmesu No Yaiba. I also like to play volleyball.

I babysat Louna (1) from September 2020 to September 2024 one day a week. My responsibilities included picking her up from school, giving her a snack, doing activities, preparing her bath, feeding her, and putting her to bed. I looked after Suzy (1) and Mathis (8) from September 2023 to August 2024 one weekend a month. My responsibilities included keeping her occupied in the evening, preparing her meals, giving her a bath, going to the park, and putting her to bed. I've babysat Imran (2mths) since March 2024 occasionally. My responsibilities include giving him a bottle, putting him to bed and supervising him.
